Concepts are great. Concepts are the foundation that will distinguish you from the rest. Most companies and businesses have yet to really distinguish themselves conceptually in the marketplace.
Concepts get people talking about your business and business name without you having to do a thing. They begin to "catch" what you are doing and it entertains their mind. This is lacking in business today. Too often visually, in an ad or campaign, I'm given the problem and solution all in one without my mind being stimulated or challenged to figure out where the ad is leading me to think.
I'm given the company, the companies purpose and told to think why I need the company rather than a challenge to figure out who the company is, what they do and if in fact, I really do need them at all. The latter of these two ideas are what will stick your audience and depending on the execution of the campaign will determine it's success. It must be creative and it must lead the audience in a way that everyone ends up in the same place (needing the company) but perhaps everyone got there differently. What they will remember is method and path to how they got the message and that's how you will get the message across. This is a noisy world. Messages are lost all the time unbeknownst to the companies themselves.
